Good to see some life in the ol girl.
I'm always floating around playing RO2:V,PUBG,BF1,Squad and latest purchases Titanfall 2 and Steel Division. (Haven't played or installed ArmA3 in a while but twist my arm hard enough)

No-one does that =/
Events, events, events! We need to make it easy for community members to create and share events on the site like a calender or something so that we can have a Left 4 Dead all-nighter campaign or a GTA gun running race or whatever else anyone can think of!
Community polls is a great idea and having weekly ones would keep content fresh and interesting. I have some gamer ones which may be cool like: do u play inverted mouse in FPS or not or DOTA v's LOL or Are all spawn campers scum of the earth
I am adding these ideas to the OP as we go.
Maybe a weekly or monthly poll on the website to increase traffic? Could be fun for the community too... I'm not sure what questions we could ask though... maybe vote on what competitions we could do for the future like Jawsh said, and more?

This is indeed a thing, we are waiting for the argo release on the 22nd to evaluate running a comp. Also we learnt a lot from the counter strike comp with issues from admins in the comp abusing the rules and being too lenient on time wasters. We will be having a clear separation between competitors and organisers.
Otherwise I am for the idea of comps. Also open to raffles and even things like esports.

Competitions. Long, long ago Day0 had a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition. The most recent mention of a new competition that I've seen are the words "Project Argo - Comp" in a TeamSpeak channel (before the server wipe.) Do we think that would be something to serious consider?

Well it has been a whirlwind of a year and Day0 has not had the love it deserved but that is changing starting now.
First up I am devoting more time to both the community and the incoming shop. As a Day0 member made me realise to make this successful I need to have time to actually do stuff. This sounds simple but balancing a family, job and this awesome community required me to change the way I do things. I am now at a point where I have made changes and am ready to unleash the Nem.

Heyo, just here to let you guys know that we are in the Setup Phase for a new Day0 GTA5 FiveM Server. This will be similar to an ArmA Life server but in GTA5 which means higher graphical fidelity, better physics and better performance due to it not having as large an island.
To get started basically you just need to get the FiveM installer and point it to your GTA5 folder, it will then install and allow you to launch FiveM. This installation does not interfere with your base game and only launchers when you launch it specifically using it's launcher meaning that GTA Online is completely unaffected.
Just to reiterate this server is in the setup phase so it will be going up and down to apply changes and fixes. If you do run into bugs or issues please document them and include screenshots or video where appropriate.
Thank-you for your time and let's have fun times.
I've been a bit slack here. Just looked at my last post and it was eight months ago!
So what's happening with ASOR flight sims?
Well, we are still active and are always looking for new members to fly with (you don't have to be an ASOR Arma3 member to do this, by the way).
Our 'official' ops are on Monday evenings at 8pm AEST. We have been flying IL2: Cliffs Of Dover for quite a while, on a few different servers. It's been popular mainly because it's relatively easy to fly the Battle of Britain aircraft and the game is really cheap to buy from places like G2a (but not from Steam!).
We've also been playing DCS, but on an ad hoc basis. With the coming of the WW2 1944 Normandy map, I expect this to pick up and a few of us have been practicing our Spitfire MkIX skills.
Ok, that's about it. Contact me if you need any further information.
